Our Story
Venn Youth started with a simple truth: teens are more connected than ever online — and lonelier than ever in real life. Social media didn't give young people what they needed most. So we built something else.
Venn Youth was founded by a Phillips Academy Andover student who experienced social isolation firsthand — and came back from it with a mission. Named for the Venn diagram, we exist in the overlap: between who young people are and who they're becoming. Our model is simple: phone-free, in-person, peer-led. Teens don't just show up — they run it.
Founded in 2026, Venn Youth, Inc. is a Massachusetts nonprofit corporation and 501(c)(3) public charity. Every program we run is free for teen members ages 14–18. We are funded by the people and organizations who believe in what happens when young people are truly seen and supported — in person.
Our 501(c)(3) Status
Venn Youth, Inc. is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law. Our IRS determination letter was received in July 2026.
What We Believe
Belonging is built in person — not online.
Teens grow when they feel safe to show up, speak up, and be real — with each other, not a screen.
Phone-free spaces aren't a restriction — they're a gift. When devices are down, real community begins.
Free always means free. Teen membership will never cost anything.
